The Melissa Katzman Education Fund

In April 1999, Melissa Katzman passed away after a battle with cancer. Melissa was the daughter of Boathouse / Arlies / Blackwell owner Arlie Katzman. To date, over $2.5 million has been contributed by the Company to cancer research. In keeping with Melissa Katzman’s passion for learning, Boathouse hopes to contribute positively to the education of one team member per annum who exemplifies the core values of the company. Please note that Boathouse / Blackwell constitute one company. One award will be granted based on applications from all Boathouse and Blackwell employees. Certain criteria does apply.

Rules & Eligibility

• Must currently be employed by Boathouse / Blackwell Supply Co.
• Must have been employed by Boathouse / Blackwell for one consecutive year
• Must be entering post-secondary in Fall 2023
• Must be accepted to a recognized post-secondary institution in Canada
