Everyone’s Job Description at Boathouse begins with one key role, SALES ASSOCIATE.  Keep that in mind when reading through the details of your specialized job description.  Your core job description is that of a Sales Associate.  The following specialized description is in addition to that core role.

• Process on average 3 boxes of stock per hour
• Accurately receive shipment and log all variances using incident reports
• Ensure all visual guidelines are met (including hanging, folding, tagging, kno-go’ing) before the product hits the sales floor
• Ensure all pricing changes are complete before product hits the sales floor
• Display all merchandise according to visual standards
• Partner with the Visual merchandiser and Manager to create game plans for new and high commodity merchandise
• Maintain a neat, clean and organized back room
• Safely put away exacto knives, swift attachers and other stock tools when not in use

Qualifications: 

• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
• Demonstrated time management and organizational skills
• Attention to detail
• Ability to prioritize
• Ability to multi task and drop task for customers
• retail experience is preferred

Scheduling and Availability:

• The stock schedule varies from store to store.  The Stock Associate position requires that you have a very flexible schedule that includes days, nights,  weekends and on call shifts.  Your manager will be able to give you more store specific details
• All team members are required to be available during Boathouse Black Out periods which may include some or all Canadian Statutory holidays, Civic holidays and March Break.  Refer to your P&P manual
